Our photo scanning service allows you to preserve those memories digitally by turning cluttered photo boxes into organized electronic memories to be treasured and shared. We output high resolution, properly rotated images at 600 dpi for photos and 2400 dpi for Slides. All photos are assigned numerical file names and will be delivered on a USB or DVD. What can you scan?
We hand scan everything from hard copy photos to slides.
Everything is handled with great care and respect.
How long does it take?
Orders take around 7-10 business days to process once your order has been received for
1000 or less images. We process orders with high standards and quality equipment.
Turn times are not guaranteed due to the uniqueness of each order.
How much does it cost?
Loose photo scanning starts at $30.00 for 50 photos and $40.00 for 51-100 photos. Slides scanning starts at $35.00 for less than 50 and $45.00 for 51-100 slides.
Can I get additional copies?
Want more copies of your output media? No problem, Just let us know when you drop off how many copies you would like and we will handle the rest.
Are there additional options?
Yes we do offer additional services such as color balance, higher resolution,
and creating video slide shows of your photos.
Computerized Color Balance & Image Enhancement $0.05 per scan
Higher than 600 dpi for Photos and 2400 dpi for Slides $0.10 per scan
We can even create a custom “Discmento” video slide show with music,
which can be shared with family and friends.

Do you Handle Photo Albums?
We ask that you remove your photos from albums and just send loose photos. If you have to send the photos in albums there will be an additional charge for removing them. We will be happy to provide you with an estimate once we receive and can review your project. The photos will be returned loose and not put back in the albums.
I’m worried about the content in a few of my images?
Our scanning process is all done entirely by hand so we see the content of every photo. Most photo collections contain content of an ‘interesting’ nature which may be little silly, embarrassing, or even crazy! We are all human and understand this completely. However, We are obliged, by law, to state that any images containing illegal activities will have to be reported to the appropriate authorities. We are sure you will support us in this obligation and support us in this regard.
